Three Wheeled Buggies
Whether you're looking for a buggy jog with or just a stroller that can be used for strolls around the neighborhood, three-wheeled buggies offer great mobility. Their compact design makes them easy to maneuver even in tight spaces.
If you're looking for a smooth ride with your baby, opt for models with 360deg front wheels with swivel. However, they are prone to punctures, so be prepared with an repair kit.
Sturdy frame
New figures show that the three-wheeled buggies, that symbol of the decade that were more expensive than common sense, are in a steep decline. 3 wheeled pushchair -wheelers are replacing them, and are more versatile and easy to drive, while also looking stylish.
The larger the wheels are, the better your buggy can deal with bumpy and uneven pavements. The larger wheels on both the front and back makes it easier to maneuver and more stable when walking downhill or on rough terrain.
MFM reviewer Kath tried this buggy out with a newborn and 3 year old and found it coped well with cobbles, grass rough pavements, dirt tracks and kerbs. Kath said it felt solid to push and very stable on difficult terrain. Its tyres (which are inflatable so need periodic pumping) offer built-in suspension, which was very comfortable for my kids.
The shape and size of the seat is another aspect to think about. You want the seat to be large enough to allow your child to feel comfortable and to allow them to lie down. Certain three-wheel buggies have the option of reclining completely, while others allow the parent to be facing one.
The Roma Atlas is a great option for off-road and walking in muddy areas. This buggy is ideal for a single child as early as birth, and can be adapted to accommodate two children as your family expands. It is suitable for infants and toddlers from birth to age 4, and includes a bumper, raincover, an improved 5-point harness, and a huge cushioned seat. Storage options are also great with a large basket and zip pockets on the hood, and an extra pouch at the rear of seat unit.
Larger wheels
Larger wheels means that your buggy will be more stable on uneven terrain, which is ideal for buggies designed for off-road use. They also help you maneuver the pushchair in tight spaces. Many three wheeled buggies have rotating front wheels that assist you in maneuvering around corners with ease, whereas others are designed for running and come with fixed front wheels that lock to increase the speed and stability with the speed at which they can be pushed. This is also useful if you bump against the kerb or a tree. The front wheel will lift slightly to prevent hitting it.
A lot of 3 wheel pushchairs have air-filled tyres. This means they are able to handle a variety of terrains and are much more flexible than 4-wheeler. They're also lighter. However, they are prone to punctures and you'll need to keep an repair kit, spare tube, and pump on hand.
Mountain Buggy Core, Venicci Carbo and Venicci Carbo lux are among our top 3-wheelers. These buggies, as per MFM's Kath, have larger wheels which she claims "perform well on grass, gravel roads and market town cobbles", and can easily climb or descend kerbs. They also have suspension that Kath says "smooths out bumps with great efficiency".
The downside of having larger wheels is that they can make some buggies quite broad and make it difficult to get through narrow spaces. This is an issue when you're using it for a jogger or to maneuver through narrow doorways when out and about. Fortunately, many models come with small folding options that let you remove the front wheels to make compact storage.
Easy to manoeuvre
One of the major advantages of a three-wheel buggy is that it's much easier to maneuver especially with a child in the back. The way they are built ensures that the front wheels turn at a quick pace and are incredibly easy to manoeuvre and are ideal for tricky terrain such as parks, cobbles or bumpy pavements, as well as dirt tracks.
MFM reviewer Kath tried an all-wheeler with her toddler, and she said: "The Terrain is a joy to maneuver on rough terrain. The swivel wheel front was particularly useful." I was also awed by how well it dealt with kerbs using the hand-operated break. It was very stable going downhill or on a rough terrain."
The only downside to this amazing maneuverability is that the larger wheels of a 3-wheel buggy may make it difficult to fit into tight spaces. This is something you need to keep in mind if your home area is an urban area. If this is an issue then a 4-wheel buggy may be a better option for you.
Bumper bar
Bumper bars are the ideal method to protect your little one from bumps and scrapes when out and about. They are quick and easy to put up and help your child feel secure and safe whilst out on the town or tackling tough terrain.
It is designed to complement the sleek lines of your Slim Twin stroller, this bumper bar features an upholstered and soft surface that provides a comfortable place for your child to hold onto when walking. The sturdy construction and sturdy design will ensure that your child will be comfortable strolling around the town without having to worry about falling or leaning forward.
The sling seat made of fabric sits comfortably inside the frame instead of sitting on top like modular seats. It provides the lowest center of gravity at the appropriate height for your newborn and also delivering excellent weight distribution for easy kerb pop (it takes less effort to push the buggy over and up a curb than you think). MFM reviewer Kath discovered that it was able to cope well with cobbles and grass and it's a good option for jogging due to its lockable swivel front wheel that can be locked and air-filled tyres.
This bumper bar is sure to turn heads wherever it is used. It has a sophisticated and stylish look. It's available in a range of finishes and colors to match your style. It comes with a simple quick-release mechanism that makes it simple to remove and install the bumper bar whenever needed. Comfort
A 3-wheel buggy is a great off-road vehicle to maneuver and performance. With the perfect geometry, engineering and weight distribution this style of buggy can turn on a dime and be easy to steer with just one hand. Mountain Buggies are tested to the same rigorous stability standards and tests as 4-wheel buggies.

The seat is made of fabric placed snugly within the frame instead of over it like modular seats, the Sport's smart design enables it to have a lower center of gravity at the right height for your child, providing you with a smoother push, a less hefty curb pop (you do not require as much weight or effort to pop the buggy's nose up and over the curb) and better stability and balance. With its massive rear wheels that measure 16 inches and lockable swivel front wheels and air filled tyres that require just a few pumps to give you a bump free ride over rough terrain, and a smoother more comfortable jog as well.

Kath, our MFM reviewer, also adored the spaciousness of the buggy. There's a big easily accessible basket that's quite spacious for such a small buggy as well as a handy zipped pouch on the back of the seat unit and even two smaller mesh pockets under the hood to keep your phone and keys.
